Jill Bergman Joining us at the graduation ceremony was Sr Irene Bourquin (Doula Trainer), Sr Lorna Morrissey (WOMBS Chairman) and Nomsa Nkata from Johnson & Johnson who kindly sponsored the ceremony and gifts for the graduates.We are especially grateful to Nomsa and all those at Johnson & Johnson who continue to provide a great deal of support to WOMBS.
It was also wonderful to have Nils Bergman (Pictured above with Sr Lorna Morrissey) at the graduation as he supported his wife, Jill Bergman, who has just completed her training with WOMBS. Dr Nils Bergman was the first to institute 6 permanent Doula positions at Mowbray Maternity Hospital while he was their Senior Medical Superindentent. Today he continues his work researching and promoting Kangaroo Mothercare.
